My strength lies in these hills and valleys.
Changing with the seasons, timeless in their integrity, I am part of it.
Comfort in things familiar, union with the ones I hold close lies ahead.
I’m coming home.
I have a strong connection to the area where I grew up, it will always be a part of me and give me pride. I always get a special feeling when I return, and first see the hills and familiar landscape. I am somehow transcended from my worries and cares that are in my life. This painting is of the road leading to my home, and I have always liked the view, it is very typical of the area.
